Tim Passingham

Managing Director

Tim is the Chairman of Cambridge Management Consulting and a Director of The Carrier Club.

He has extensive senior executive experience in the information and communications technology industry. He is a Non-Executive Director of Irish telecommunications provider Aqua Comms and of 5G operator Lightening Fibre, and a strategy adviser to numerous organisations.

Tim started his career with BT and went on to hold several senior roles within the organisation. He then moved to Level 3 Communications, establishing a $560m business carrying much of Europe’s internet traffic.

He then took on the role of Vice President for Wholesale at Colt Technologies. In one year, he transformed Colt’s brand in the wholesale telecommunications industry and re-built a €500m business.

Tim is a Patron of the British Exploring Society and a Global Ambassador for Telecom Sans Frontiers.

Tim lives in Cambridge and London, and has three children aged 14, 8 and 6. He has a love of the outdoors, international travel and running.
